​ADMISSIONS PROCESS

​STEP 1
The applicant and parent/guardian submits an online cadet application (paper applications will no longer be accepted).

APPLICATION & DOCUMENTS

Applicant must submit the physical exam form, copy of current insurance card, updated immunization records (all immunizations must be current), dental form, and mental health assessment with medication referral letter (if applicable) for review. Submit by email to: arngyc93@gmail.com or by text: 501-288-9630. You cannot proceed to the next step until these documents are received.

​ONLINE INTERVIEW 

The applicant and parent/guardian must watch the YC video before the application is reviewed. Click HERE to watch the YC video explaining the entire program and then submit the interview questions. The Applicant MUST watch the video and complete the interview questions themselves.

STEP 2

APPLICATION REVIEW

Your application will then be reviewed by the Director and Medical staff. If you are accepted, you will be emailed your acceptance letter. You are are still REQUIRED to submit the remaining documents to complete the application packet: Mentor application, birth certificate, and social security card before the start date. 

STEP 3
Applicant and parent/guardian will be invited to attend a virtual orientation before the start date via Zoom.

Acceptance packet includes:

• Acceptance letter with time, date, and directions to the location of in-processing
• Invitation to join Official Class Facebook page to received up to date information regarding upcoming class.

(APPLICANT MUST BE 16 - 18 YEARS OLD by the beginning of the class.

If you have any Felony adjudications, you will be disqualified)

VIRTUAL INTERVIEW

VIRTUAL ORIENTATION

Held via Zoom app

You will be sent and invitation to attend a virtual  orientation once you have been accepted into the program. This will give the opportunity to for a question and answer session before the start date.

The mission of the Arkansas National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program is to intervene in and reclaim the lives of 16-18 year-old youths in the state of Arkansas, producing program graduates with the values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed as productive citizens.
