CLASS 63 STARTS IN JULY 2024

(APPLICANT MUST BE 16 - 18 YEARS OLD by the beginning of the class.
If you have any Felony adjudications, you will be disqualified)

Applicant Entrance Criteria

Males and females – 16 to 18 years old by the start date in January or July – Dropped out, not attending, or over one year behind in credits – A citizen or legal resident of the United States – Voluntary – Must complete application process – Must attend orientation – Provide copy of birth certificate – Provide copy of medical insurance card (if applicable) – Must have sports physical.

  • The applicant and parent/guardian submits an online cadet application (paper applications will no longer be accepted).

    APPLICATION & DOCUMENTS

    Applicant must submit the physical exam form, copy of current insurance card, updated immunization records (all immunizations must be current), dental form, and mental health assessment with medication referral letter (if applicable) for review.     ​ONLINE INTERVIEW

    The applicant and parent/guardian must watch the YC video before the application is reviewed. Scroll down on this page to watch the video explaining the entire program and then submit the interview questions. The Applicant MUST watch the video and complete the interview questions themselves.

  • APPLICATION REVIEW

    Your application will then be reviewed by the Director and Medical staff. If you are accepted, you will be emailed your acceptance letter. You are are still REQUIRED to submit the remaining documents to complete the application packet: Mentor application, birth certificate, and social security card before the start date.

  • Applicant and parent/guardian will be invited to attend a virtual orientation before the start date via Zoom.

    IF ACCEPTED

    Acceptance packet includes:

    • Acceptance letter with time, date, and directions to the location of in-processing

    • Invitation to join Official Class Facebook page to received up to date information regarding upcoming class.

    • Cadet handbook

    • Required items list.
